I’ve been in such a weird mood, musically, lately. Largely, nothing sounds good…everything sounds tired.
But then I got on a kick over a bunch of shit that sounds like this. I don’t know what the kids call it. “American gothic?” A lot of stark, spooky, honest music. Those Poor Bastards, Lonesome Wyatt, The Devil Makes Three, and this guy…Jay Munly.
Wonderfully haunting…
